Venues to know

  • 100 Tonson Foundation — Non-profit contemporary art space on Soi Tonson that stages one long-running exhibition at a time with public programs. Open Thursday to Sunday.
  • Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) — City-run contemporary art center at Pathumwan Intersection with main galleries on floors 7–9, smaller People's Gallery rooms, a studio theater and an auditorium. Exhibition entry is generally free.
  • Centara Grand at CentralWorld — A hotel at CentralWorld whose 26th-floor pool deck and rooftop bars host Bangkok Rooftops pool parties and rooftop DJ nights.
  • Jim Thompson Art Center — Contemporary art space beside the Jim Thompson House Museum near National Stadium, showing rotating exhibitions with an art library. Open every day.
  • Lido Connect — A creative space in Siam Square with several halls for indie gigs, live-house series and small concerts.
