Fifty-two royal barges crewed by 2,200 Royal Thai Navy personnel travel from Wasukri Pier past the Grand Palace to Wat Arun for the Royal Kathin ceremony. The procession runs in the afternoon; viewing areas open from about 15:00. Free tickets for designated viewing areas closed on 16 September.
